Name Development: Grain Giantâ„¢
Vale Industries is a diversified steel manufacturing company located in southern Saskatchewan, Canada, with a rich history of providing successful portable and stationary solutions for industry problems. Vale Industries continually takes on new challenges, whether in agricultural, manufacturing, quarrying or mining industries. Taking inspiration from this, we wanted to embody the brand’s main characteristics — versatile, modern, forward-thinking, engineered.

Brand Mark
The parallelogram is an element that can be used in various ways. The shape implies motion, as Vale is constantly moving towards innovation in their industry.
Colour & Pattern Development
There are 3 main colours in Vale’s colour palette, not including white. Red was chosen as the brand colour as it represents the Canadian roots, power, and courage. The colour red is a highly visible colour that is able to focus attention quickly and get people to make quick decisions.
The repeating VA pulled from the Vale logo represents different elements of Vale’s products like a tire tread, the teeth of a gravel crusher and the back and forth motion of harvesting a field.
